Anyone else watching this? It is going to be an awesomely F&#* up season. The Adam Levine intro I could have done without - until he had his arm ripped off. Jessica Lange is phenomenal and it's good to see that Evan Peters is back. If you aren't watching this - you should be. Wednesday nights on FX.

I was about to start a thread myself - I LOVED season one, and this season does look good, but I'm still a bit on the fence.

The opening was a bit over-the-top sex-wise, and the (possible?) alien abduction stuff is kind of silly... I had assumed that with Jessican Lange & Evan Peters returning, that it would be some sort of prequel, but I guess they divulged most of the back story in flashbacks in the first season. Hmmm...

I love anything creepy asylum, so I'm probably going to love this season regardless. They did have to do a lot of 'set up' stuff in this first episode, so next week's episode should be a better read on it.

I LOVED the bit that Mark Consuelos played - I almost didn't recognize him! Bravo. And the creepy girl with the shaved head/ponytail is classic sideshow creepy. Yowza.

I haven't seen it yet. And yeah I heard the intro was a waste of time. This season looks good, but so over-the-top sexually charged that I may just end up not bothering with it. That's not horror, that's just a ploy for ratings. Last season was fun but it had so many loopholes that just irritated the crap outta me, that'd be another reason I've give up on this season too. So here's to hoping...

Was Consuelos the poop thrower? Yeah shaved head lady was creepy as hell.

Consuelos was fighter with the gold teeth that tried to attack Kit - I'm not sure if he threw the poop, I couldn't tell who that was...

I really enjoyed season one and after watching this first episode I was shocked at how great it was!! It's all over the place!! I do think that Levine intro will play a much bigger part as things go along!! If you haven't watched it yet make sure you do!! Looks like it's gonna be a doozy!!

I adore Jessica Lange's role. She is one badass nun!

I watched part of it. I liked what I saw, but the last two episodes of the first season keep running through my head.

Question is this everyone who loved the first season saying the second season is awesome? or did they do a different plot etc for the second season? I tried a few times the first season and I just couldn't get into the show, so wondering if it changed.

The second season has a few of the same actors, but the plot is completely different, they play different characters, it's not the same house but is now an asylum.

Say wha? Did you forget last season? Lots of sexy sex. If Dylan McDermott's fine naked booty wasn't a ploy for ratings, I don't know what is. (And believe me, I am not complaining.) And let's not forget the gimp. He was a murderous gimp; yet, a gimp just the same.

Of course, I like my horror with a side of sex so I'm looking forward to what this season brings.

Oh, and wasn't Jessica Lange HOT in that dream sequence. I hope I can manage that down the road.

I loved the first season, and nuns are my favorite. Especially crazy, sadistic ones. And Evan Peters is looking amazing this year. Yowza.

I do think it's interesting that they covered two huge social taboos of the 60s just in the opener, I wonder if that will be a theme all season.

I know there was a good amount last season, it seemed pretty spread out though, all I'm saying is I'd prefer it that way.
