Things to do before you die.

So what are some things an average person should do before they pass away? A bucket list of sorts.
Everyone should have at least one connection with something greater than their own life. I think everyone should see a beach before they die, or write their name in snow. Maybe go to a comic con?
What do you think a person should do before they pass? Something that's not too pricy or crazy. Something that could be easily done. Something fun and new and awesome. Maybe you'll give someone else an idea for a future vacation? Maybe somebody will give you an idea for a future vacation.
So let's hear 'em!

Ride a horse! I raised and showed Arabians years ago in Ohio before I moved south. Long winters depressed me. Anyways, they are amazing animals with so much power that you can feel as you ride. In the winter, we pulled their shoes and their hair grew long and riding bareback was warm and fuzzy. We also had ponies that pulled little carts. Ahh, amazing childhood. Made being grown up harder.
Great post.

That weapon will replace your tongue. You will learn to speak through it. And your poetry will now be written with blood.
I would really like to visit the Disney Parks in Tokyo and Paris, as well as travel all over Europe.
Get Life Insurance... as a parent, that is the first thing that pops in my head...
Adding to this... Is there anything on your bucket list you've already done?
One thing I always wanted to do was go to a geek convention and now I've done it four times over at DragonCon!
My big one is finish my novel.
I also think everyone should see other cultures and how other people in the world live. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel, but I want to do more and see places I haven't been yet.

I think I have 2:
Nothing was more amazing and made me feel things that I have never experienced before like watching my kids be born. I know kids aren't for everyone and they don't fall under the "not too expensive" category either, but I have never felt happiness like that in my entire life. Everyone should experience those feelings before they die.
My second thing I think everyone should do before they die is something I did during my honeymoon in Hawaii. I woke up at 4am and drove to the top of a volcano to watch the sun rise. On the way up the volcano I was thinking, "why am I up so early on my honeymoon?" But once we were there it was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen.
I probably have more things that I haven't done yet. Let me think about this.

I've been lucky and my bucket list keeps changing as I do things. Only a hockey player would appreciate this, but I got to kiss the Stanley Cup two summers ago. That's been a dream of mine since I learned to skate. I've also done the same thing to the line of bricks at the Indy 500.
Right now I'm kind of in a Hemingway mood. Planning a Marlin fishing trip this fall with some friends. This will be our second try and I'm hoping my reconstructed arm can handle it. That's probably the driving reason. Prove to myself that I can overcome my accident.

I think Disney Tokyo would be amazing...
I can say from first hand experience that the only really awesome thing about Disney Paris is the Phantom Manor - I have always loved the Haunted Mansion in the regular Disney Parks, but they're all pretty similar - the Paris version has it's own separate story and it's a lot different and I LOVED it.
(Plus the actors are allowed to actually interact with the guests - a black cat-woman grabbed my husband's arm and the brave man shrieked like a girl.)
Everything else at Disney Paris is pretty carbon-copy Disney, but (go figure) they all speak French - like in the Star Wars Experience, C3PO is parlez-vouz francais-ing and my kids were not amused
I guess I said something I'd already done. One thing I would love to do is go to any kind of "con" . Ive never been to a toy show and would probably have a meltdown. We used to have an FX show here and it now longer around. Someday...

I'm a HUGE parks enthusiast, even just go to see the themeing would be fun for me. I've read a book about Haunted Mansion, I am pretty familiar with Phantom Manor. I love how detailed they made it! And Tokyo Disneysea is probably the main reason I want to go to TDL.
I had "eat noodles in Japan" on my bucket list, but since I technically achieved that during a 1hr layover in Narita Airport today, I'm going to revise that to "actually go to Japan."
I definitely want to go to Tokyo DisneySea! It is so ridiculously pretty in pictures.

I want to go to Italy and stare at the Pieta. It is one of my favorite sculptures. I want to go allover Italy really, but That is the main thing. I am also with Shing Tokyo Japan would be awesome as hell.
Also on a side note and extremely petty, and I will probably never ever do this. I would love quit a job Jerry Maguire style but more awesome and hopefully less akward
