Yes thats the second colourway. I think there are only the two and I dont think its a chase situation, just two runs. The beard on this is copper and the parts coloured the same as the hat rim are a tarnished tin.

I'm really enjoying these
If I can ask a question to Dok A: Do you personally prefer the model sculpting or 3d rendering to start the prototype?

As I understand it, there will six Gnomes to a case, 5 in the regular colourway and 1 in the alternate colourway. I also believe they're going to be sold in blind boxes. So to get both colors, you'd have to take your chances on individual blind boxes or buy a full case of six to guarantee yourself both versions. I guess that means the second colourway is essentially a chase, but not a super-hard-to-find chase.... If I'm am wrong, I hope somebody who knows 100% for sure will correct me!

I think the CG version is probably cheaper to alter before going to a real world form. But I expect the solid form will need tweeking too. We will see when pics of the GNOME wax show up. On the colourways. Yes it does look like the Subterranean version will be short packed 1 on a case of 6. And yes the boxes will be non window type so I guess its a sort of chase. I should have some Aps though so watch this space. There is also now to be a third colourway as a special edition for a popular con in the USA.. (hint... one of the smaller ones..)

Any approximate release date available? How are things progressing with RAJE toys? I can't wait. I've already preordered via paypall. Got an email from them saying 'Tracking number 22/07/2010 =-posted date. Postal status = Posted', but surely this isn't right?

That sounds odd. You sure you didnt buy the Brain by mistake?
The Gnome has gone into production. As far as I know its due September ish but nothing is set in stone as of yet. Before Xmas at any rate.
