Craola posted some sneak peaks on his blog including this one.

Travis, do you know yet how these pieces are going to be framed? G1988 doesn't always do a very good job of posting framed pics on their website/preview list.

black glossy frames from me
I think Craola is floating the drawing he has in his posession, . . .mine will be in an oval frame
a few of mine will be with convex glass, except for the larger ones

Where do you find these oval frames with the convex glass?

G1988 sent out an email announcement today. I'm really excited to hear that there are some Craola collabs. Sounds amazing.
Any pugs this go round?

Hey Travis:
I really don't like it when galleries get lazy. Really.
I don't have much in the way of assets and info for this show so I wasn't able to put together much...sorry for that.
Here is a PDF press release that you can download to forward around to all your favorite art blogs: http://yo-yo.org/elvis/temp/TLpress.pdf
You don't have a vanity URL for your Flickr page so I created a branded TinyUrl for you that kicks straight to it and is easier to remember than a string of numbers: http://tinyurl.com/travislouiepics. That URL will ALWAYS kick people right to the front of your Flickr page so feel free to jot it down somewhere and keep using it.
From there you can just upload the images of the show pieces with size and pricing info and build a sort of preview that you can send people to without wondering if/when Jensen is going to get around to it.
This isn't my best work by a long shot but at least it's something with YOUR branding on it that you can send out to your normal press contacts. Ideal world I would have built a multi-page pdf with all the show images and pricing built in so you were sending out a press release and preview at the same time but...it's Taco Tuesday and my kids are hungry.
Hope this helps. If you want text added/changed you can email it to me tonight and I'll make the changes later this evening and re-upload the pdf.
Cheers,
S

awww you're doing one with Evelin! That's awesome!! She's such a nice person. I still have my high school year book with her drawings on it. So far it's my only artwork from her... I really need to get some more from her. Also, need to get my arse to NY to see her and some other people...
but yeah, she's good people!
Sorry to hear that gallery is being lazy.
The collab looks great too!!

I don't suppose you have any idea if the preview email will be going out today or not until tomorrow do you?

No worries, captain.
I hope the opening goes well for Travis and the other artists he collaborated with, and I hope someone gives Jensen an earful about what that 50% is supposed to be paying for.
Kids these days. Sheesh.

I know, right? Disclaimer: That's industry standard, I have no knowledge of Travis' business dealings with G1988.
But yeah. Some galleries really earn their cut for sure, others...well, others don't.
It's a weird business, and I for one am REALLY happy to see things like the seasonal sales here on CP where the artists are selling direct to their fans, and all the artists like Dan May and Jason Limon who are actively selling their own work direct to fans online.
It's a great time to be an art collector, a good time to be an artist if you're saavy, and a really bad time to be a lazy gallery owner. Technology is cleaning up this business a bit, and it's awesome to watch.
there's a short write up with a new preview pic up on hi-fructose. Every single piece I've seen so far looks amazing.
