I am curious... If anyone knows or has figured out what the deal is to use video out for their IPhone? I guess there is open source stuff (Cydia) - but any idea on if Apple has a plan to actually incorporate or release this ability into a new build? I bought a bunch of killer "light projection" apps --

* iBeams
* Pixi
* Fluid Motion

Get these Apps, if you haven't already - so much fun!! - I am dying to hook these up to a large screen or digital projector through a video out cable... Any ideas, suggestions or experiences you can share before I go out and pick up the $50 apple cable? - Apparently Apple for whatever reason only wants us to project video or our photo albums but anything else seems to be taboo to them... Safari on a large screen TV, apps - Would love to know what the big deal is on why Apple is dragging their feet on this one - maybe the frame rate is complicated???

Any thoughts?
